About the Authors
JERRY and RICHELA CHAPMAN,
twin flames, discovered they achieved "Sacred Relationship" after twenty-five years of marriage. After surviving prostate cancer, Jerry felt guided to write a book that would be helpful to others seeking Sacred Relationship. He combined journals, meditation experiences and dreams into a cohesive story. When he asked his wife to edit the story, she realized that the feminine viewpoint needed expression and added her perspective. The manuscript grew and developed into an intertwining tale of two souls with a common goal who found one another once again and joined in spiritual partnership.

Jerry's writing experience began during graduate school. Studying history and writing a 140 page Master's Thesis, The Attempt of Albert Sidney Johnson to Hold the Line Against Grant in the West, helped Jerry gain broader perspective of the impact history plays in humankind's progress. He continued writing after graduate school when an experiment in an altered state of consciousness became recorded as original research. After that altered state experience writing poetry became an emotional outlet. He published two poems in the Association for Research and Enlightenment (ARE) newsletter in 1971. Following work with the California Institute of Transpersonal Psychology in 1984, Jerry began journaling that included dreams, meditation experiences and spiritual realizations. Serving as Assistant Professor, he retired from Amarillo College in 1999. Jerry enjoys writing music and singing accompanied by his crystal singing bowl.
Richela has been writing poetry and journaling since college. During her Master's work, she became selected to contribute to Growing Up Gifted and Optimizing Learning: The Integrative Education Model in the Classroom by Dr. Barbara Clark. She taught in public and private school before becoming an Educational Consultant. In her work with the Southwest Educational Development Lab, a regional education laboratory based in Austin serving five states, she conducted original research addressing professional learning communities. She contributed to “Change Diaries: Parallel Perspectives on School Change” in Learning Together, Leading Together, Shirley M. Hord, Editor, and “Facilitating School Change From the Outside In,” Multiple Mirrors: Reflection on the Creation of Professional Learning Communities, Story 7. After she retired, Richela became an award-winning oil and pastel artist. She thinks of her paintings as realistic impressionism. Richela creates intuitive works, like “Light of Lotus” featured on the cover of Through the Veil, from meditation experiences and initiations. See her art in our

About the Channel
In 1974, Richela began to channel — bring forth information from the spiritual realms. Her skills grew as she practiced maintaining a strong connection. In offering to be of service to humanity, Richela's intent remains to bring forth information from the spiritual dimensions with clarity and accuracy. She focuses on the third eye, experiencing a brilliant lightning bolt that links to Higher Self. Then, she poses questions and receives thoughts in packages of light that flow through a vibrant crystalline tube. Richela is clairaudient and scribes the message being conveyed. Her spiritual guides offer insights from a larger perspective. "Sometimes human beings get caught in duality. Earthly challenges seem unbearable and obstacles insurmountable. We strive to inspire, uplift, encourage and empower souls, assisting them to gain greater consciousness and achieve ascension during their sojourn on Earth." We Are One.
